Hug?

A word: Hug.  You give me that word when I say your chosen political party wants to get rid of  a young woman's right to abortion.  I say: this is why we shouldn't discuss political views.  You watch too much news. You live in fear. Washing the skin of a fruit you will peel.  You say the far right are "good people", shaking hands with misogynists.  Who was it that I identified with? Where is he? I know I am not the one, but I wish that if I got where you were going there would be time for logic.  If I didn't see eye to eye with you, like this boy said, maybe this is Hell.

Money

Tears come easy when I have the nervousness of the hours before work.  There is blue in my sky this morning.  I wrote " If there is blue in my sky I will be happy" You asked a question about the blue sky.  Someone in dream told me you had died. I had to make them repeat it. My sky was falling in if it was true.  But it wasn't and isn't and won't be true. The seas would flood with a trillion tears if you left.  If everybody else can find success why can't I ?  The answer is: I can and I will. Money isn't the root of all evil if it lifts you out of sorrow. It is those who have never been without that say money is evil.

About Today

We left together.  You who jumps in anger with a friendly touch.  We sat on the bus. Never having been so close.  And as the day wore on we met up with our mutual friend. Someone I hold so dear. Someone who looks out for me and protects me.  Three, for once - Thank God!  - for once wasn't a crowd. Because we all share a common past and it connects us like outsiders would never understand.  We shared a drink on the hill. A smoke. Our laughter. Our bitterness. My anger. "Okay, just chill," you said. And we changed the subject.       Men don't vilify me like women can.  So we saw you home and then you and I wondered where to go with a few hours to kill.  Me, ever a woman, wanted to shop. But sensible you said let's go sit at the picnic table.  We bonded over a shared love of the album "Solace". And I wanted to tell you how I bought the singer roses but ended up giving them to a homeless man on the way to the concert. Way back...
